susurro III

Reclaimed canvas and silk 23 x 23 x 3.5cm 2021

“Susurro” translates as whisper; (verb) speak very softly using one’s breath rather than one’s throat, especially for the sake of secrecy.

The third piece titled “susurro” I am doing another exploration of structure and surface. I try to avoid as much manipulation of raw materials as possible so they have a voice. I find the result to be an interesting application of texture on a canvas frame.
